Your First Class? We've Got You Covered
We're looking forward to having you in your first class. Here are a few things to know going into it.
- Bring a water bottle and take a sip whenever you need one.
- Wear non-marking shoes you're comfortable moving in.
- If you have no experience with dance, don't worry. Our classes are filled with people who have never danced before, so you're not the only one. #team
- Speak up if you have a question about how something has been taught. Someone else is probably wondering the same thing. Our instructors are happy to review those tricky steps.
- Hoot, holler, and clap for yourself and others as you work through the class. Celebrate your progress.
- We'll start with an icebreaker when we get into class.
- You'll be led through a warm up and stretch.
- The choreography will be taught.
- You'll dance it out.
- The instructor will give you a chance to film them preforming.
- You'll work on each song for two weeks so you'll have lots of time to familiarize yourself with the movements.
Enjoy the music, enjoy the freedom, and have a great first class!
